This light and fruity expression is finished for eight months in Port pipes from Porto Cruz, the No. 1 Porto company in the world. The spirit picks up intense embellishments of summer fruit, dark chocolate and cinnamon and a distinct pink hue. A quality Single Malt Scotch Whisky from Elgin, the capital of Speyside, where the distillery has been producing fine malt Whisky, distilled traditionally in copper stills, since 1897. Ex-bourbon barrels from North America are used to mature the whiskies, giving Glen Moray its rich and spicy characteristics. Glen Moray Classic Port Cask Finish is a small batch release that combines the soft, gentle Classic Single Malt with the spicy, Wine-like, tannic elements of the port casks from Porto Cruz in which it is matured.
